Molly plays outfield for the Eagles.  She is a sophomore from Newbern, TN.  Her major is Speech Therapy.  Molly is the youngest of the three children and is the daughter of Stephan and Laura Wright. Laura is a Lambuth alumnus.

She has played softball for 16 years.  Molly played for the Milan Heartbreakers which went to the USSSA.  In high school Molly was a pitcher as well as an outfielder and utility infielder.  Molly attended Dyer County High School where she was a four year starter in softball and  basketball.  Molly also participated in cross country and soccer.  During her four years at Dyer County HS, Molly received many awards which include the Newcomer Award, Unsung Hero and Defensive MVP, All District Honors in softball.  In basketball, Most Athletic, Hustle Award(2), Defensive MVP(3), 110% Award, and Academic Awards. 

 

In her freshman season, Molly started every game in leftfield and hit in the seven hole.  This season she will spend most of her time in rightfield.
