February 7, 2008 - Lambuth Women's Soccer coach Simon Duffy signed Texas standout Rachel Harlass to a scholarship this past week.

Harlass is a 5'7 GK from L.D. Bell High School in Hurst, Texas.

Harlass was 1st Team All-District in 2006-07. She was a member of the 1st Team All-Academic squad. Her high school won the 2007 District and she was also a member of the Tornadoes '90 Club Soccer squad.

Harlass is a member of the National Honor Society and was a International Baccalaureate Student. She also won the Texas Stars leadership award.

Coach Duffy said, "Rachel is a great addition to the team and I expect big things from her in the years to come."
