Jackson, TN – Lambuth Baseball head coach John Barlowe is pleased to announce the signing of Loretto High School right-handed pitcher Clint Wright. Wright not only stars on the baseball team in the spring, but was also a very valuable player on Loretto's basketball team. Clint stands at 6'6'' and weighs 245 pounds. Coach John Barlowe says, "The first thing that stands out about Clint is his size. When he steps on the mound he is a very intimidating stature that gives 100% and attacks hitters. He has very good control of his off speed. With a lot of hard work in the fall, Clint could become a very valuable asset of the pitching staff next year as a freshman." Clint is the son of Tim and Tracy Wright. He has one brother, Seth and the entire family resides in Lawrenceburg, TN. Clint will finish his high school season this spring under the tutelage of Gary Lamm. The Eagles are very excited about what Clint will add to their team for the spring of 2009.
