Two Tennessee Junior College players also decided that Lambuth would be a great place to finish their playing career and school. Bart White of Volunteer State Community College and Charles Fowlkes of Chattanoga State Community College. Charles Fowlkes played for Coach Greg Dennis at Chattanoga State. Coach Dennis has this to say about Charles: "Charles red-shirted last spring and has worked hard to develop even more on the mound. A consistent performer who takes his work seriously, Charles is the type of young man that is only going to get better and make those around him better." Charles will enter Lambuth as a Sophomore, but will be looked upon as a true leader. Charles is the son of David and Pam Fowlkes. Coach Barlowe said, "I am very excited to add experience to our team. Not only do these four have experience, but they all know how to play the game of baseball and they will be teachers to the young players."
