Jackson, TN - The recipe for a great baseball team is a mixture of new young talent with a mixture of older talent. Lambuth baseball had some success early in the recruiting campaign to sign some young talent. Now, Coach John Barlowe announces the signing of four Junior College players that will help in the recipe for success by adding some maturity and experience.
Two Tennessee Junior College players also decided that Lambuth would be a great place to finish their playing career and school. Bart White of Volunteer State Community College and Charles Fowlkes of Chattanoga State Community College.
Bart played for the Region VII Tournament runner-up. Bart will look to fill the void left in the outfield by Ryan Concannon, whose eligibilty is up. Bart is a big strong kid, who will hit for power and has a very strong throwing arm. Bart is the son of Bart White and Nancy Sneed. Bart finished his freshman year at Vol State for Coach Mike Crossland hitting .283 with 9 homeruns and 30 RBI's.
